This is the SMS (saving Macedonian strays) shelter on Veles that a we will be visiting soon to help in any way we can.
There are many ways you can help too - by donating to help feed the animals - or adopt one of these lovely dogs or cats.
They are being kicked off their land and the goal is to have all the cats re homed to reduce the stress of being moved with 200 dogs.
First of all, they deserve more than they currently have, all victims of circumstance. This is the safest place for them, as many of these have been abused by people - poisoned, knocked over and/or neglected and rescued by SMS. They still seem to love humans!
For anyone who has been on holiday and wished they could have taken a stray home, please contact me if you or someone you know is able to offer foster or adoption 
They come with:
- Full vet health check
- EU passports
- Transport to the UK.
Every month, SMS spend approximately £2000 on food for the 200+ dogs at the shelter. That means that they need to raise £500 a week to feed all of the animals.
